We are now in an extra exciting phase, and it feels more intense. There are lots of decisions to be made about so many things. I am feeling a little overwhelmed. Grateful. And overwhelmed.
Today we visited the house site with Victor, walking through to talk about lights and smoke detectors (which 99% of the homes here don’t have).
Here are some photos of us with Victor. I realized that we don’t have any photos of us together, so I made sure we got some.
The wooden beams and tile roof are being installed. My studio’s wooden ceiling/beams are done, and it looks lovely…The roof in the living/dining room is almost done. Then comes the weatherproofing, and then the clay tiles.
The porch is coming along, and you can see the gorgeous wood columns.
The terrace now has a roof on it.
The concrete roof is where the water tank, solar panels and water heater are located. There’s a staircase to get up there. Fede’s waving from that roof area.

Ahora estamos en una fase extra emocionante y se siente más intensa. Hay muchas decisiones que tomar sobre muchas cosas.
Hoy visitamos la obra con Víctor, para hablar sobre luces y detectores de humo (que el 99% de las casas aquí no tienen).
Aquí hay algunas fotos de nosotros con Víctor. Me di cuenta de que no tenemos ninguna foto de nosotros juntos en la obra, así que me aseguré de conseguir algunas.
Se están instalando las vigas de madera y el techo de tejas. El techo/vigas de madera de mi estudio están listos y se ven hermosos... El techo de la sala de estar/comedor está casi listo. Luego viene la impermeabilización y luego las tejas.
El corredor está avanzando y se pueden ver las hermosas columnas de madera.
La terraza ahora tiene techo.
El techo de concreto es donde se encuentran el tanque de agua o tinaco, los paneles solares y el calentador de agua. Hay una escalera para subir allí. Fede está saludando desde esa área del techo.
