Lighting - Iluminacion

 We are finally installing the lighting, inside and out.  We bought our lighting from Lorena at Casa Vintage.  It’s really wonderful to not be looking at bare light bulbs.

Look at the porch and the future lighting of the terrace (the same lampshade to tie these outdoor living spaces together).  

Por fin estamos instalando la iluminación, tanto interior como exterior. Compramos la iluminación de Lorena en Casa Vintage. Es una maravilla no tener que ver bombillas sin bombilla.

Fíjate en el corredor y la futura iluminación de la terraza (la misma pantalla para integrar estos espacios exteriores).

I want to share some views from our lovely terrace.  Spectacular sunrises and sunsets are visible up there.  Just beautiful.  Every single day.

The terrace floor was not installed correctly, so it pools water after a heavy rain, so the floor needs to be pulled out and redone.  

Looking forward to completion, so I can look for some lightweight furniture for this space and hang that hammock!

Quiero compartir algunas vistas desde nuestra encantadora terraza. Se ven amaneceres y atardeceres espectaculares desde arriba. Simplemente precioso. Todos los días.

El suelo de la terraza no se instaló correctamente, por lo que se acumula agua después de una lluvia fuerte. Por eso, hay que sacarlo y arreglarlo.

¡Tengo muchas ganas de terminarlo para poder buscar muebles ligeros para este espacio y colgar la hamaca!

February 12 - 12 de febrero

Our architect Victor has said the inside of the house will be completed by February 12. 

There’s quite a bit left to be done, and there has only been one worker on site for a while. 

• The kitchen cabinets are almost done, but not finished.  

• The guestroom closet needs to be installed.  

• The deep post-construction cleaning of the floors and exterior windows.

• Our laundry room needs to be finished. 

• The first floor bathrooms are not done, see below. These are the composting toilets.

Outside work is finishing the driveway, installing the solar panels and the electrical work. 

We need to nail down a date for, but my proposed date is March 1.

Two weeks!

Nuestro arquitecto, Víctor, ha dicho que el interior de la casa estará terminado

para el 12 de febrero.

Queda bastante por hacer, y solo ha habido un trabajador en la obra durante un tiempo.

Los baños de la primera planta no están terminados.

Los armarios de la cocina están casi listos, pero no están terminados.

Hay que instalar el armario de la habitación de invitados.

La limpieza a fondo posterior a la obra de los suelos y las ventanas exteriores.

El lavadero también está terminado.

En el exterior, se está terminando la entrada, instalando los paneles solares

y la instalación eléctrica.

Necesitamos fijar una fecha; propongo el 1 de marzo.
